I want to learn how to create a web pages that have great graphics and special effects. Unfortunately I am not very good with website development so if anyone can recommend somekind of book or website that teaches you.....................................
I used HTML For Dummies. But honesty I would never had conquered the code without the help of a friend. Buy the book and find a friend who can get you started.
A great program to use for website development is DreamWeaver by Adobe. There are several tutorials on YouTube that you can find to get started on the program. I will tell you a great place to get HTML answers. Jwebsite developmentust Google it or Yahoo! Ask in the search bar exactly what your question is and after a few pages you will get your answer. Slowly you can teach yourself the code without having to buy a book because frankly you will learn more by playing around with DreamWeaver than reading some stupid book. You will always learn more by hands on experience.

I think the best way to start is learn some basics building blocks of website from www.w3schools.com,after that you can try writing codes by taking reference from Video tutorials via Youtube or vim-eo.
first you have to buy a domain.there are lot of domain selling sites in internet.after that you have to create your site with HTML or joomla.search in yahoo..you will find a good site..:D
firstly go for learning HTMl and for this the best site is w3schools.org
HTML can be complicated at times, anyway, I think you'll find this site of some use
